Any good Aion gladiator leveling guide will of course tell you that gladiators are primarily the damage dealers in a party. They are, however, surprisingly versatile and are often called upon to off tank which makes them an interesting class to level. As a gladiator, you are in the Aion sub-class of Warrior. Gladiators have one of the best damage output potentials in the game:

They can do chain moves such as “Robust Blow” and area of affect attacks like “Seismic Wave” which can inflict serious damage on all opponents within range. Of course, tanking is what gladiators do, and it’s worth trying! As long as you have the time to achieve emnity it should be a piece of cake to hold back the mob! The gladiator is designed to use two handed weapons instead of weapon and shield. This is a great bonus because it saves you all that space in your inventory!

The Armorsmith and Alchemist professions offer you the benefit of being able to craft your own armor and plate. Plate armor can be difficult to locate, and so it will save you time to have this skill. Alchemy gives you access to health pots and flight time pots to help gather aether.

Keep your gathering and extracting skills at maximum levels since this is an intrinsic part of both professions in order to have materials when you need them! Aether gathering is a fundamental part of all professions so it is important to do that too. At least its refreshing in that you gain xp from gathering, the higher the item being gathered the higher the xp gained so that spurs you on and any materials you find you won’t use you can sell at the brokers for much needed kinah.
