Call of Duty – The New Hit of the Christmas!
After so many complaints that World War 2 is played out, the producers finally got things straight and made a good Call of Duty game based on the modern times. The game is out now and it’s called the Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare 2.
Reviews all over the web says is an incredible game, with amazing graphics and terrific audiovisual moments, however they also say that campaign mode of this game is very short. For reference, I’ve completed it in about 6 hours (!), which is quite fast.
One of the reasons of this speed is that, despite the game is in fact very small, Modern Warfare is so good that playing it is like be in the war, but this time, the modern war.
But I wasn’t sad as I finished it, because what the single player have less, the multiplayer will make it up, with up to 16 maps in 6 different game modes to play.
Action!
All action in this game is pretty straightforward, you just have to look at your compass and follow the objective, however don’t be fooled because it’s not just a hit and run game: sometimes is very hard to pass by your enemies (especially when looking for Russian terrorists in farmhouses!).
You will have the opportunity to be a British SAS or an US Marine, so it’s possible to see the story from multiple perspectives and, for the first time, you will have the opportunity to earn some interesting tactical moves for skilled play. For example, if you can kill five opponents without being injured, you can call for an air strike, which takes game play to a whole new level of perfection.
